Education

Seventh Stage believes that education is the foundation of creativity, confidence and collaboration. In order to nurture and develop artistry and artists, from a healthy and holistic place, positive and empowering learning opportunities need to be provided.

Here are our education missions:

Community Partnerships: We are open and eager to partner with like-minded organizations who offer a broader spectrum of healthy artistic learning opportunities. Seventh Stage is a small organization, so branching outand collaborating improves our ability to provide quality services, programming and activities to our community.

Inclusivity: In a diverse society such as ours, coming together in meaningful ways with those who are marginalized – linguistically, bodily, religiously or ethnically – is one of the most urgent challenges facing society as whole. The arts community has an amazing opportunity to offer and open up its education opportunities in order to bridge this gap.

Accessible: We aim to provide programming over a broad range of mediums and modalities (i.e. in-person, live online, pre-programmed online, hybrid), in order to access to a wider and broader community. Accessibility also includes financial access, specifically to those in financial crisis or need, be it acute or longterm. Free, sponsored or sliding scale programming is central to our activities.

We are open to suggestions and feedback on how we can engage you or your organization in our education missions. To connect with us please email info@seventhstageproductions.com or call 416-573-9475.
